The Filipino Boxing Superstar Manny Pacquiao and the Unbeaten Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. owe's a Super Boxing Fight to fans before hanging up their gloves. According to Mexican Boxing Legend Marco Antonio Barrera
Barrera who was in an exclusive interview last week during the final press conference for Donnie Neites-Moises "Moi" Fuentes for the light-flyweight championship said to Eddie Alinea of PhilBoxing “Yes, I believe both Pacquiao and Mayweather owe it to the people to mix it up before they finally hang their fighting gloves”
“And when I say ‘people,’ I mean, not only boxing denizens but the entire sporting community as well,” Barrera Clarified.
Some boxing analysts in the world believes that after a potential Pacquiao-Mayweather bout has been potential years ago, now its likely gonna be the American champion will dominate the "Pacman".
But, when Barrera was asked if who he thinks will prevail if the bout pushes through, he answered of course, it will be the fans, people who have dreaming for this. "Not Manny, Not Floyd, it's the Fans".
Barrera then challenged Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather to set aside their personal issues and simply give the people what they want.
Barrera then said that unfortunately, he is no longer in a position to make people happy in the way what people loves most (sport).
Then he insinuates the champions by saying: “But had I been in Manny’s position or Floyd’s, I would have done it."
“So if both are true to their words to entertain and make people happy, why not fight;. Why not forget pride, misunderstanding and personal feud. Boxing, like all sports, after all, is entertainment. It’s all about making people forget their problems. Just imagine how many will be happy when they face each other,” he declared.
